Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21 in 1983) is an acclaimed American actor. Particularly, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of school when her parents separated to go to Los Angeles to live with her mother. The year 2001 was a difficult one for her, but despite financial struggles, she was able to secure her first big part in the web-based video show Rachel's Room as the main character. In the following year, she was awarded an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford's character she played in Lost from 2004 until 2005 was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace decided to concentrate on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. In addition, she appeared on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) as well as opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). In addition, she played Alice as Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day version that the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the Lost series for the last two episodes, playing Shannon. She appeared in 2013's six-season of Californication. The role she plays is Faith an actress who serves as a model for the stars and catches the attention from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is part of the Gyllenhaal clan and the younger sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. She began her career in the teen years with minor parts in a few of the films of her father and starred together with her brother in cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her leading roles in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606), both of which earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. She had several films that were commercially successful, including World Trade Center. However it was her performance in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her wider attention in The Dark Knight (2008). Following her acclaimed performance as an unmarried mother in Crazy Heart (2009), she earned the Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. After that she continued to star in comedies as well as dramas such Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011), and Will Not Back Down (12). She also was a Secret Service Agent in White House Down, an action-packed thriller released in 2013, she was a musician on the set of Frank (2014) and her role as the main character on The Kindergarten Teacher, a film that debuted in the year 2018. Gyllenhaal's first film as a writer and director was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama for which she received the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. She also received the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
